Hello Alessandra,
Removal of your ovaries wont affect you sex drive much because you are already menopausal and oestrogen secretion was already low.Normally after lap surgery,3-4 weeks one can resume all activities including sex. With your doctor's consent it can be earlier too if your recovery is good.

removal of ovary has not any relation with sex drive.still you can enjoy your sex life.but if your both ovary has been removed then you may have difficulty with getting pregnent.you should wait for a month if it is not a deep surgery .

I had my left ovary removed on the 19th. They also removed a large amount of scarring from endometriosis. I came home the same day and have been on the mend since. My husband and I accidentally went too far and wound up having intercourse today. It has only been 13 days since my surgery, and I am worried because I found out after that I was supposed to wait longer. I am having some pain in my stomach, but nothing too severe. It was unprotected sex and there was no trying to stop his ejaculate from entering. I am worried that I could have caused damage.
