welcome to healthcare magic.
Recurrent cough is mainly a sign of asthmatic bronchitis which is now common in almost all major cities due to pollution & dense population.Such persons are succeptible to changes in temperature & weather.Get treated & investigated (CBC;ESR;X-ray) to rule our other causes .If this happens in AC rooms(when it is confirmed that she does not tolerate AC) then only thing she can do is keep away from AC.If treatment is requied to help better ;consult a good Homoeopathic physician. It works better in allergies.
take care

coughing is a reflex mechanism of the body to remove the toxins from the body..
