How Is Optic Nerve Trauma Treated?

How do you treat optic nerve trauma? I had a detached retina surgery in 2003 and and then macular pucker surgery in 2010. I believe it was caused by the macular pucker surgery. My central vision in the affected eye is lost. I am not diabetic and have no hypertension problem. There are no other chronic diseases. I am 65 years old.

Hello
It seems from the history that you had a surgery for retinal detachment and macular pucker.
The treatment depends on the status of retina. This requires evaluation by tests like B scan and optical coherence tomography.
Based on the results of these tests the treatment can be planned and prognosis depends on these test results.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
