Hi my mother is aged 35 and she has some problem sleeping. Her doctor gave her Clonax 0.5 to take when needed. Is this a sleeping pill and how good is it? Will this help her sleep? She hardly sleeps peacefully.
If it is a chronic (long standing) problem, then the possibility of anxiety disorder or depression should be ruled out. Giving only clonazepam in such cases is like treating infection with paracetamol (which will only decrease fever but will not decrease infection). Improving sleep hygiene can help.
