How Else To Treat Eczema In Neck, Back And Arms Along With Applying Eczema Cream And Benadryl Cream?
my son has severe eczema on face and arms, after being sunburnt a couple of days ago now his eczema is worst and he has developed a rash on neck, back and arms- he is complaining with the burn on his checks, I have applied his eczema creams to what I can, aloe to his face and benedryl cream to the rash. Can I do anything more?
As per your case history of eczema, my treatment advice is - 1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone cream on the lesions twice daily. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetirizine twice daily for seven to ten days. 4. Other treatment options are oral steroids like prednisone or betamethasone taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
