How Effective Is Permanent Cathadreal For Kidney Disease?
Dear Doctors, My mother have been suffering kidney disease since 2009.In intial stage her critinine level was 2.84 but it became 7 on 2001.Now she is taking dylisis.A local doctor did the festola on her left hand.Its working but the medical technican cant find any vein on this hand.Instead she is taking dylisis by Cathadreal which is temporary method.My mom is exercising but the technacian cant find anything on his hand.Another doctor advise to use permanent cathadreal which could be use 6 to 12 month. So, whats your suggesition at this moment?
Please get it done doppler study of the hand to know weather catheter is patent or not. If not successful need again av fistula creation. Long term cathetors may easily prone for infections and complications. So please consider av fistula to check once again and consult with your nephrologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
