How Effective Is Panadol For PPM ?
Hi doctor We are in UAE and my mom was operated on 13th Jan and inserted PPM as she had bradicardia. She was discharged yesterday and since she had little pain on and left back area and front left is where PPM is installed. Today we observed little swelling on left back. Pain still exist. We gv some panadol pain killer too...is that a serious or normal as i did spoke to doctor at hospital he says to bring on Sunday for dressing same time will check... can it cause emergency or can wait...

Panodol is paracetamol which is a mild pain killer.Heart surgery usually gives such pain for several days.If your doctor told its ok you can wait till his consultation.If he advices any exercises or hot application then you should do that properly.Hope this may help you
