How Effective Is Postinor-2 In Preventing Pregnancy?

Pls, I saw my period on the 31th August to sat but a little drop on sunday4th, I and my bf had unprotected sex and he released inside of me on the 7th, at abt 5:30 in the morning but I later took postinor 2 and Ampicillin 250mg ziclox at abt 9- 10:30, and I wnt t if it will help t prevent pregnancy. And second question is if I can eat after taking postinor2 or nt and if any wen t eat

I understand your concern
Postinor 2 is 95 % effective in preventing the pregnancy.
So failure rate is 1-5 %.
Postinor 2 inhibit the ovulation so no fertilization and implantation will occur.
It also cause delay period by 8-10 days.
So if your next period will delay by 12-14 days, then go for Urine pregnancy kit and or blood HCG to confirm pregnancy.

You can eat any type of food after postinor 2.
There is no interaction between type of food and effectiveness.
Avoid stress, take healthy diet and drink plenty of water
