How Early Pregnancy Be Confirmed After Intercourse?

Good evening, i am 16 days late on period. My last period was on july 20th to 25th. Then on aug 3rd I had unprotected sex with my husband, on aug 11 got spotting brown discharge for 2days and my period was suppose to come aug 17th. It is not Sept 1st and no period, and i have taken 5 pregnancy test all negative..Am i taking pregnancy test too soon??

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your pregnancy detection.

The hormone which appears in urine (hCG) start appearing in urine after ten days of ovulation that means relatively one week before the next period.

As per your history you are more then fifteen days over to last period, that means you should have detected if there was any such pregnancy. There are 99% chances of pregnancy detection after three weeks.

So my opinion is you are not pregnant but to be sure you must visit a Lab for the confirmation of if there is any chances. Because lab test are more sensitive than take home pregnancy test.
