Smoking is a stimulant, therefore may even increase your ability to study. If you smoke too much it can cause headaches. With stress and studying, Im sure you may skip meals and not drink the recomended amout of water per day... That in itself will make you feel real crummy.
Psychiatrist Dr. Himanshu Desai's  Response
Smoke of tobacco contains Nicotine, Which stimulates nicotinic receptors in the brain which makes you feel alert.regular use makes you dependent. When receptors doesn't get Nicotine it produces withdrawal symptoms. To eliminate you need to smoke again. Smoking is hazardous to almost all body systems. For your pain you can see a doctor to find out weather it is releted to your smoking or not.
