How Does Sexually Transmitted Disease Spread?

I realize this sounds like a ridiculous question, but I was out at a bar and used the public bathroom I slipped on the wet floor when I went to sit down and ended up sitting on the wet floor. Can you catch an std or anything like that from something like that?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
STD organisms can not live outside the body fluids and also not viable at outside atmosphere for not more than few seconds. Moreover when you would have fallen down in the public lavatory, it could with your clothes on and possibly uncovered parts like hand and soles contacted the wet remains. Possibility of orgnisms other than STD could have come in contact that too would have been washed off by cleaning with water and soap. Nothing to worry. No possibility for STD/HIV.
