How Does One Reduce Eye Power?

hello doctor.i am a 15 year old girl.i have eye power of:- left eye -4.75
right eye -4.25
it is increasing day by day.i cant see anything from first bench and far away things.what shall i do?please suggest an answer.help.

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having refractive error of -4.25 and -4.75 dioptres.
This indicates myopia and the treatment of the condition is by use of appropriate spectacles.
The refractive errors are known to increase till 21-23 years. The rapid progression can be reduced by use of glasses regularly and using more of vitamin A rich foods.
Once the progression is stopped you can undergo laser refractive surgery like LASIK.
