How could my BP be normal ?

I'm 5'10" 286lbs that has smoked a pack a day for atleast 10 yrs (I'm 31 now), plagued with financial, and emotional stress. I used to work out 5 days a week (5 yrs ago) but I have not exercised in over a year, and I have a desk job. I drink liquor just about everyday. Everytime I check my BP, it is ALWAYS at a normal level. Even when I was pregnant, the dr's were astonished, as I'm obese and gained pregnant weight so fast. How is this possible? My mother has high blood pressure...

What figures are you calling "Normal"? Can you edit your posting and say what BP's you are reading, and the pulse-rates too, please? I think you are at some high risk and would like to help if it's possible.
