How Conclusive Is ELISA Test At 10 Weeks Post Exposure?
i ve had unprotected sex with a girl of unknown status 12 weeks ago, just after i was diagnosed with dengue fever , throughout the entire period i ve had fever , however at 3 weeks i developed sore throat and then it went away , now i have sore throat again , all the time the fever is consistent , i did an elisa HIV test at 10 weeks it came out negative , im still worried

I did review your concern. Elisa test for HIV detects antibody against common HIV antigen which start to appear between 3-12 weeks. I would advice you to run ELISA, western blot and p24 antigen assay to confirm the presence of HIV antigen in body
