How Can Wheezing Be Treated?

I can t sleep through and wake around 3 oclock, wheezing or girgiling. I have to get up and try to sleep in a recliner. I have a fib, hypertension, edema in the legs. allergies and I think it is restless leg symdrom. I take propranolol, furodimide, Hydralazine, lisinopril, calciumtablets,naproxen sodium, vitamin D, vitamins,claritin, eliquis, We have a daily glass of wine or cocktail, and I m overweight, have had back surgery and both knees replaced. And now I seem to be falling asleep sitting up, being on my computer or even reading a book.

I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, possibility of congestive heart failure (CHF) is more likely.
Wheezing sound from lung, not able to sleep in supine position (Orthopnea), edema feet etc are more suggestive of heart failure.
So better to consult cardiologist and get done ecg and 2d echo.
You will need injectable diuretics and other cardiac supportive drugs.
Also get done sleep study to rule out sleep apnea as you are obese and having excessive day time sleepiness.
You may need CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) machine for sleep apnea.
