How Can Weak Ventilation Problems In An Old Female Be Treated?
Hello doctor I need ur help urgently I am worried about my mother in laws health. I just want to consult with U is any medication has been applied to increase bp if the bp has been normal . I am also a science student but I nvr hear about this type of medication which the doctor has given to my mother in law and made her condition critical and now she suffering from narcolepsy according to me and the cardiac doctor said that she suffering weak ventilation problem during night and there is a need artificial ventilation machine for her and the machine is so costly I just need ur opinion is any other is available to improve the ventilation problem ,so please consult me your faithfully . HI Rishu. Thanks for your concerns. Please enlighten on the other problems your Mother-in-law has. No need to take any medicine if the BP is normal. I would advise to to have a consultation with a Pulmonalogist ( Chest Physician), who would take her pulmonary function tests, X-rays/ CT scan and decide the cause. She may be having a sleep apnoea problem and CPAP machines do help a lot to improve this and they are not very costly
