Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I ve had vertigo problems for 40 years. Usually it corrected itself but in recent years I ve had good luck using the exercise of sitting on a bed and lying down on one side then the other with my head at 45 degrees. Today, and in recent weeks the vertigo has become chronic. I ve experienced vertigo for most of the day. Are there any new cures you can recomment?

Hi, Thanks for the quwry. I understand your concern. Such vertigo can be due to -internal ear problem due to infection, allergy, -cervical soondylitis causing nerve pinching . You need to consult an ENT doctor /spinal surgeon for expert advise. Till then take bed rest. Try to restrict troublesum neck movements Over the counter medicine diziron can be taken twice a day after food. Thanks.
