How Can Vaginal Yeast Infection Despite Taking Monistat-1 Be Treated?
I got a yeast infection after taking oral antibiotics. I used Monistat 1 day treatment but the ovule seemed to have not left the meds inside my vagina so I bought another and retreated myself. That was yesterday and I still have symptoms and it appears that I have irritated or made my external vulva bleed. Should I retreat or just keep the area clean and dry?

I think you should consult a gynecologist for complete examination. You may need some antibiotic like a combination of Cefixime and Ornidazole for 10 to 14 days and antifungal drugs orally. Also, take vaginal pessary of antibiotic and antifungal drugs like Clingen forte for 7 nights to treat that. You can use a vaginal wash to maintain the normal ph.
