Hi, I am a 26-year-old female. My weight is 42kg and my height is 1.56m. I recently did a health check up and everything was normal except for my Urine Micro-Albumin. The ratio of my microalbumin to creatinine is stated as High . The results are below: ———- Urine Microalbumin Random 53 mg/L Urine Creatinine Random 2.80 mmol/L Urine Alb/Cre Ratio * 18.9 mg/mmol ( 3.50) The desired range is below 3.50, but my results are 18.9. What does this mean? Should I be worried? What can I do to reduce my Urine Micro-Albumin levels? Does this mean that I am going to develop progressive kidney failure and cardiovascular disease in the future? I should I do? My test results are worrying because it is so high.
