How Can Urinary Incontinence Be Treated?

I had a bladder sling, cystocele & rectocele, diastasis recti, abdominoplasty & other reconstruction in March of 2015. I am 66 years old & weighed 130 post surgery. I ve been diagnosed with Hashimoto s & Pre-Diabetes this year. I ve been bothered by urgency, frequency & some bladder leakage. Now, I m unable to stop my stream after starting & this week, I m noticing some odor (no other symptoms). My doctor took a UA today, which was clear. Any ideas about what I should do?

Hi,

Thanks for your question.

I do understand your pain and discomfort.

As per your history is concerned you have not mentioned how old are you and whether you are male or female. If female check whether you have uterine fibroid present or not and check if you have thiamine (vitamin B1) deficiency present or not, if present add injectable medications. Finally, do a MRI scan to ruled out any neurological causes present or not.

I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write to me.

Wishing you all the best.

Thanks
