Hi doctor I'm 3 weeks pregnant and I can't handle it im in a bad state of my life my baby she is just 1 year old.. and the owner of my pregnancy want nothing to do with it, since then he have run away to his country, pls help on how to abort this before its too late, it's the only solution. I'm not working that will make it hard for me to support the two kids.
Medical abortion is the way for 3 weeks pregnancy. Drug Mifepristone 200 mg orally on day 1 followed by Misoprostol 800 microgram on day 2. It is followed by abdominal cramps and vaginal bleeding for 4 days to 1 week. You need to do it under gynaecologist supervision and guidance . This is because the procedure may be accompanied by complication like severe abdominal pain, prolonged bleeding, vomiting, collapse. Also follow up after 7 days is needed with gynaecologist/health care provider for confirmation of abortion by physical examination,USG pelvis, blood HCG levels.. Surgical abortion by dilatation and evacuation/curretage is an alternative.
Hope I answered your query. Wish you good health
