How Can Tonsillitis Be Treated?

I ve been suffering with tonsillitis since Friday evening. I went to my local walk in centre on Sunday morning. I had it on my left side and had trouble swallowing causing my ear to hurt. The doctor said it was tonsillitis and that I had la fever. He wouldn t prescribe any antibiotics as they will only heal you half a day quicker than not being on them I then got both sides severely and in lots of pain and white pus spots. Today is a better day but have noticed the spots are now black??! Why or what is the reason?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Antibiotic therapy will be required in your case. Initially you can try gargling with warm saline and steam inhalation. Taking chewable vitamin c is also good. You can also use throat lozenges like strepsils. If that is not helping then you should go for antibiotics.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
