General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can.

opical therapy is recommended for a localized infection and inmost cases this is efficient. These include ketoconazole, clotrimazole, miconazole. A low-to-medium potency topical corticosteroid can be added to the topical antifungal regimen to relieve symptoms. The steroid can provide rapid relief from the inflammatory component of the infection, but the steroid should only be applied for the first few days of treatment.

Only in severe cases some more complex and expensive medications can be used but this is usually not necessary.

I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
