I gave birth to a baby and its been nearly 7 and a half months now.I can see pus formation near the area where my Gynecologist have put stiches during delivery. Now i don`t have any pain in that area neither am I having problems passing stools and peeing but I am concerned about this as this should not become a major problem ,later. How do I remove the Pus and what medications do you prescribe for such an infection?

Hello, Thank you for your query. I had gone through your history and understand your concern. As the pus is coming from the sutured area it should be evaluated for the cause. Because you have undergone C section 7 months back by this time the wound should have been healed. As you are having pus at the site of incision, I may advice some ointment to keep that area clean and sterile. I would suggest you to take a opinion of your Gynecologist, you may require through physical examination and some lab investigation to identify the cause of infection. Thank you.
