General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

First of all, I would like to tell you that the TPHA test done to find out syphilis, is a very efficient test but there is one problem with it that it remain positive even after successful treatment, so we don't use it to monitor the response of the therapy for measuring the response we will go for RPR test. Thus for confirming that whether your syphilis is been treated or not I would suggest you go for RPR test.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
 Dr. Medhavi Agarwal
