Hello
Thank you for posting your question at HCM.
Swelling on feet and ankles is of two types, one is inflammation, other is oedema. You need to put pressure over the swelling with one finger and hold it for 20 secs to check if its pitting oedema or an inflammation. Inflammation is also associated with some range of pain.
As you say your blood count is low, I would like to know your blood pressure. You will need to get a thorough blood profile done with
Lipid Profile, LFT, KFT & cardiac troponins.
Management will depend on the result of the tests. If you think its inflammation, in our OPD setups we advise patients to take Tab Amzesik MR , Tab Cefovolk, Volkflam gel/
Volini Spray , and atleast 3 days of
bed rest.
Please note prescription drugs should be taken only on the advice of an RMP. Each illness has a different pathway of reaching to suitable drug, which only an expert physician has knowledge of. Self treatment can be dangerous. Always take expert help when in need. Please consider your allergies before taking any drug.
Thanks
