How Can Stress And Lack Of Sleep Be Treated?

for the last fifty years have trouble sleeping. I have been under tremendous stress with family problems. taking care of parents and my sisters and brothers children. My job is very demanding. I know that I need help because it has become overwhelming, I don t know where to turn too.

Hello,

It seems from your description that your sleeping difficulties are due to an anxiety disorder. In order to deal with that psychotherapy is advised. If that is not enough or not possible to attend then you may discuss with a psychiatrist the prescription of medication such as sedating antidepressants which benefit both anxiety and insomnia.
