How Can Stomach Ache Be Managed While On Tussionex?

I take tussinex suspension. The generic form of this causes me to have severe stomach pains. My insurance will now not pay for the name brand tussinex. They said they both have the same ingredients and I would have to show I’m allergic to one of them. This is not my imagination. I’ve actually taken the generic not realizing it wasn’t tussinex and had the same pains. The same thing would happen when I took tylox verses the generic for it. I swear the pains I get are worse than labor pains. This has happened for years. I had a gastric bypass nearly 30 years ago and these pains started after that so I suspect that has something to do with it. I would appreciate any help you can give me. I’m afraid to take anything with pain meds in it for fear of getting these stomach pains. I need to find out if there is some difference between the name brand and the generic. There has to be! Thank you

You take below medicine under your doctor advice
-You can take Pantoprazole.
-You can take Paracetamol.
-You can take Gasex tablet.

-Do yoga and pranayam in empty stomach breathing in fresh air.
-Do exercise in the morning.
-Do meditation in the morning.

-Don't eat outside food.
-Don't eat cake, pastries, ice cream, cold drink, etc.
-Eat home made rice and khichdi (recipe prepared with rice and lentils).
