How Can Stiffness In The Ankles And Knees Be Treated?

I am a 57 year old male with type 1 diabetes. For the last 10 years I have been experiencing progressive bilateral stiffness in the ankles, knees, upper back, shoulders, neck, and upper arms. My rheumatologist says I don t have rheumatoid arthritis, my primary says I don t have osteoarthritis, and one neurologist thought I had stiff person syndrome, but then a specialist said that is doubtful. Baclofen helps relieve some of the stiffness. Any ideas what kind of doctor I should try next?
