Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had surgery to remove my clostiatoma a few weeks ago and now I have a staff infection in that ear. I was wondering if smoking marijuana could have caused or increased the chances of infection. I waited a week after my surgery to smoke and the infection came about a week after or so after I started again.

How Can Staph Infection In The Ear Be Treated?

If signs of infection are there, consult a Consult an ent specialist and start or step up antibiotic. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
