How Can Sore Throat Along With Wheezing Be Treated?

I have been using opiates for a few months now. I have many health issues. Half way through starting my useage I began to snort the pills. It seem to be more effective that way. But I decided I no longer wanted to be on them. I became too dependent. I also started noticing some issues. Sore throat, wheezing, swollen nose & swollen lymph nodes. The throat issue has been the worst. I’ve been choking when I try to eat or drink. Issues breathing as well. I’ve been trying to taper the last two days. And I am currently going through withdrawals. I have been nauseated, vomiting, disorientated, loss of appetite, migraines. My main worry is my throat though. Is there anything I can do for this without going to the doctor? I don’t have insurance.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Based on the description of the symptoms, it appears that you could be having viral infection or due to allergic origin. It is not appropriate to take just symptomatic treatment without proper clinical evaluation.

Kindly get your blood checked for the following:
1. Complete hemogram.
2. Peripheral smear examination.
3. Absolute eosinophil count.

Kindly consult Physician with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
Hope the information provided helps.
All the best.
Regards,
Dr.Ashakiran.S.
