Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 60 year old male in good physical health, very active (workout 4 days a week, play racketball 3 days a week. I have sleep apnea and use a CPAP machine, I am tired all the time. I have an average blood pressure of 135/66, latest bp reading 129/59. My doctor just recently put me on a 2.5 mg blood pressure medication. Should i be on BP medication?
As your BP is below 140/80. its ok even if you don't take BP tablet. But your diastolic BP seems to b bit low. Keep monitoring it. have you checked your sugar levels and hb levels. kindly check them when you feel tired next time. anemia is one of the main cause for tiredness.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
