How Can Skin Burn Caused By Dettol Be Treated?
Hello doctor my daughter applied undiluted dettol on a simple scratch on her thigh and covered it for ctton and tape for the whole night.in the morning she had a big burn on the skin .please suggest how to treat the burn so that she doesn t have a scar ?she is 11 years old.

please rinse her affected area with water.
if boils present don't prick it.
apply betaine ointment alternately with boroline cream, don't cover the wound let it have good aeration.
cover the wound with betaine ointment with bandage above only if she is going out.
if scar persists then kindly consult a plastic surgeon or general surgeon for further assistance.
