General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

For sinusitis stage of affection, PNS x-ray needs to be taken. For difficult breathing, pulmonary function test and chest x-ray should be done. This will help in rule out asthma or COPD (Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) like problems. According to the cause, specific treatment can be given.

Investigate with CBC as well as allergy testing. If the x-ray shows chronic sinusitis than endoscopy sinus surgery can be done. If obstructive lung disease present, then bronchodilator maintenance inhaler therapy can be prescribed. Consult the pulmonologist for examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
