Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

In my opinion, you should search for the cause of shoulder pain first rather than increasing dose of painkiller. Removal metal implants from joint is Infact less painful. So worsening pain after implant removal should be evaluated for infection, fracture etc. So better to consult orthopedic doctor and discuss all these. Try to find out cause and treat it. This will relieve your pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
