How Can Shingles Be Treated?

Good Morning, I went to my doctors yesterday with a rash I have had for 5 days it s shingles. The doctor gave me nothing for it. It is sore and my eye is now becoming inflamed. I am going on holiday next week will I be okay. Is there anything I can take for this.

Hi,

I recommend that you take an antihistamine, such as Alercet once a day for 20 days. You can place chamomile water in the eruption with cooked oatmeal to hydrate the skin and improve your rash, at night for a week.

Hope I have answered your query.
