How Can Shingles Be Treated?

I have shingles going on two days now . I m on medication from my doctor , but was wondering if you have any suggestions as to topical treatments over the counter that wound help soothe it . It is beginning to blister and just need some relief . It is on my right side only , front to back . From my neck , down to just beneath my armpit . Smack dead on the middle of my chest and continues around to the middle of my back plus is going down my right arm .

You have to start on antivirals like acyclovir or gancyclovir. These drugs help to decrease the number and severity of the eruptions. You can apply topical antivirals also.
If you have pain, you can use analgesics like tramadol or ibuprofen.
