Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It's important to know that since you are overweight, you are at risk to develop polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).
Irregular periods are common in obese and in PCOS patients .
You should consult the gynecologist for physical and pelvic exam, pelvic ultrasound and also undergo blood tests that measure levels of several hormones, to make the right diagnosis.
You can also make a complete blood count test to find out if you have any hypochromic microcytic anemia, as you had 3 weeks of bleeding.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
