How Can Sharp Pain In The Foot Be Treated?

Hi doctor, today I had stepped on a form of small rock, on my upper foot just below the big toe, now I’m unable to walk on the inner side of my foot, and am unable to place my big toe on the floor as there is sharp pins that run through my foot, I’m just wanting to know what may be the cause? I have wrapped it into a bandage? And when I’m not walking there’s no pain but if I go to walk or put pressure the sharp pains runs throughout the top of the foot.
Many thanks

These symptoms resemble gout. you should get slate serum uric acid test done and start on symptomatic pain relief with NSAIDS like indomethacin 25 mg three times a day. once the uric acid reports come we have to start the drugs for lowering the same with allopurinol and colchicine
