How Can Severe Loose Motion, Fever And Vomiting Be Treated For An Infant?

Good Morning sir, My sister s baby boy of 6 month old having frequent loose motion, , fever and vomiting and couldn t sleep last full night, every body at home are worried. We had consulted one of our nearest Paediatric doctor. He gave some medicine, but the situation got worsen at all. Please advise what to do ??

Hi Thank you for query. It is common to have diarrhea at this age and dehydration is the main. problem with diarrhea. Please follow hygiene measures. Continue breast feeding. Prepare fresh Oral rehydration solution(ORS).Feed the baby with ORS whenever the baby passes stools and after few minutes of vomit. You can get ors sachets in any Government health centres or in any medical shops.Cobsult your doctor if it does not subside or worsens.
