Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Erection problems can occur due to many causes. These causes include Physical problems, such as injury to nerves or loss of blood supply to the penis. Other health problems, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, anxiety, and depression. Some other causes could be side effects of certain medicines, stress, drinking too much alcohol or smoking.

The exam, lab tests, and sometimes mental health tests can help find out the cause of the problem. Tretament is based on cause and include avoiding tobacco and drugs and limiting alcohol.

Also, talking about the issue with your partner, doing sensual exercises, and getting counsultancy may be beneficial. Finding and then stopping medicines that may be causing the problem.

In some cases, you can take a different medicine that doesn't cause erection problems. Taking prescription medicine can help you get erections. These include pills such as sildenafil (for example, Viagra), tadalafil (for example, Cialis).

In most cases, this is sufficient for treatment but you should just be patient and do necessary tests.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein
