Hi
Thanks for postingon HCM
I have read and understood your concern.Sorry to hear you have been struggling with seborrheic dermatitis.
Contact dermatitis is caused by a substance you are exposed to that irritates your skin or triggers an allergic reaction.Symptomatic treatment with anti-histamine like citirizine is ok. 10mg of this drug per day is ok to relieve you of your symptoms.Doubling the dose is not necesary as 10mg is the maximum recommended dose and to limit side effects.I will suggest you try the following:
-Continue with citirizine as prescribed
-Get a steroidal anti-inflammatory like prednisolone for say 5 days
-Local application of betamehtasone cream may also help
If symptoms persist, you see your Doctor for reevaluation.
Hope this will help
Wish you good health. You may write back if more concerns.
Best regards
