How Can Reoccurring Fistula With Bad Smells Be Treated?
My operation was done for fistula in ano on 4th june 2011. but after 20 days, i am finding very bad smell in that part, where operation taken place. Daily I washed my that parts with warm water adding betadine or potassium permegnate. 5 days back, i found another swelling where the fistula was earlier and then two days later a lot of blood came from that swelling. I am feeling comfortable after operation but bad smell and operation injury still I found in the same condition. What I have to do now. Please suggest.
dear abscess may develop may open into external may discharge pus,it may contain much anerobic organisms may cause bad smell with pus discharge.so it may heal slowly.maitain good hygiene, eat fiber diet,avoid spicy food and alcohol.use stool softener which may support fast healing.continue antibiotics.use sitz bath daily. some times it may develop repeated infection create problems.please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
