How Can Recurrent UTI Along With Pelvic Pressure Be Treated?
History of many UTI s over the past 7-8 months. Current UTI with bleeding, but also pelvic pressure and it is painful to have a bowel movement although stool is normal consistency but the last few days is mustard colored. No fever, no other sever medical conditions. Hysterecotmy with 1/2 of 1 ovary left. No gall bladder or appendix.
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM I have read and understood your concern.Sorry to hear you have been struggling with recurrent UTI for the past 8 months.Given the reccurent nature of the infection, antibiotic resistance is very possible and may be the reason for recurrence.I will suggest you see the Doctor for a urine culture/antibiotic sensitivity tests. From the result, the germ may be treated more objectively. Also, recurrent urinary symptoms may be due to reccurent kidney stone.I will suggest you also get an abdominal ultrasound if symptoms persist. As for your digestive symptoms like painful bowel movements and mustard coloured stool, it may indicates an associated digestive infection.Your Doctor may also request for a stool exam/culture.If bowel pains persist, you take an anti-spasmodic pain drug like spafon while waiting on your Doctor I will also recommend good genital hygiene Hope this will help. You may write back if more concerns Wish you good health
