Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello! I am 62 years of age. female I have had rectal bleeding several times. The last colonoscopy showed inward hemeroids. One time I had C-dif with it. What could I be feeling? I had bad pains in the abdomen below my waist. Could that be the hemorroids causing pain?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hello,
Hemorrhoids can cause lower abdominal pain. Infection or thrombosis also can cause increased pain. A digital examination by general surgeon should be carried out.
You can apply hemorrhoid creams after doing sits baths. Taking stool softeners and dried prunes at bed time is also good.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Nishad BN
