How Can Rashes On The Lower Leg Be Treated?

I am wearing a walking boot for torn calf muscle. I was wearing the inner liner given with the boot but have developed rashes over my lower leg. I stopped wearing the liner and have been using socks the past few days but rash persists. I put hydrocortisone cream which works for few hours but itch comes back. I have ben told to wear boot 24/7 except when bathing, until my next doctors visit in 8 days. What can I do.

dear user

i would like to tell you we have two possibilities of that rashes may refer to.....

that i suppose if it is rashes with itching it will be allergic reaction due to tight clothes of socks wearing ........this allergic reaction occur due to contact with allergen substance to the body that enhance histamine release and causes these symptoms of rashes and in this case he need to take antihistaminic drugs that will improve it and try to know what substance that cause this and avoid that again

if these rashes appear vesicular and pappular and filled with fluid this indicate what is called shingles and it is due to reactivation of varicella zoster virus and this case is common happening with no danger of that....this case of shingles may occur due to stress or anxiety

briefly avoiding wearing tight socks and medical treatment with local hydrocortisone cream and antihistaminic drugs will be effective

wish you healthy life
