Hello
Welcome to healthcare magic.

Injection of norethisterone provides contraceptive effect till 8 weeks.
Generally given once every 3 months.

Undiagnosed vaginal bleeding first needs to be evaluated before starting the injection.Hormonal imbalance may cause vaginal bleeding.
I recommend you to visit gynaecologist for USG abdo and ruling out causes of vaginal bleeding.
It is usually treated with low dose oral contraceptives or progestin therapy.

Hope this information helps.
Thanks.
