How Can Profuse Nose Bleeding After A Wisdom Tooth Extraction Be Treated?

I had my wisdom teeth taken out recently, and Im currently experiencing heavy bleeding from my nose. I used my 3mg e cig regularly and I think the nicotine may be the cause of thr profuse bleeding. it s been about an hour now and the bleeding hasnt stopped. Ive used the medicine affrin as my doctor reccomended and it didnt stop

Hello,

The vaporizer may make dryness in the mucosa lead to bleeding.

Nicotine may cause keratitis or mucositis of mucosa lead to bleeding. Thrombocytopenia or hypertension or oral anticoagulants may cause nasal mucosa to become dry.

Avoid vaporizer use, avoid nicotine use. Use normal saline nasal spray. apply continuous pressure on the nose for thirty seconds and see.

If symptoms not improved please consult your physician/ENT specialist they will examine and so the nasal packing.
