How Can Pregnancy Be Terminated?

Dear Doctor,
My wife has her LPC on 23rd March.We have mated for a few times after 3rd April.On 25th April we did a card test and found positive.So on the same night she took one tab of Mifepristone orally.My questions are : how to take misoprostol- orally or insertion??? Do I need to visit gynecologist ? Is ultrasound is necessary? please suggest.

Hi, I think you should consult a gynecologist. Ultrasound is not necessary but it is a good option to be sure of the pregnancy. You can use misoprostol tablets 800 mcg vaginally after 48 hours of mifepristone. But these drugs can lead to excessive pain and bleeding. So, it should be taken under supervision only. Hope it helps.
