How can pregnancy be confirmed?

Hi, I would like to know if I am pregnant or not. I am expecting my period but not sure of it when would be but I had my first period either last June 14 or 15 and lasted after 4 days but it looks like that i am delayed already because until now it s not coming. I ve made un-protective sex with my boyfriend june 22 & 23 / 29&30 / 13 & 14 but we did pulling-out before he comes. I already felt my PMS during the 2nd week before my expected period of July 14 or 15 but my expected date for my period doesn t come until now. Knowing this delayed, gets me to have sleep disorders sometimes because of thinking it too much. I m a regular sleepers for only 4-5 hours daily for 4 days because of my work time frame but the rest of the days is fine. I am turning 45 years old this July 19 and i guess I m into a perimenopausal stage already. The little soreness and tenderness feeling of my breast this days compared to before my expected period date is less. Now i m still worried. Would this be only a delayed period or am i really pregnant. I did some research for this condition of mine but sometimes it give me thought that maybe it s only a hormonal change happening to me since i m a bit stress knowing these condition i have right now and or I am just into a perimenopausal stage. Can you please tell me what s going on with me right now. Just a bit worried. Thanks in advance, MEL

Hi I think you should do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy first. If negative, it can be due to some stress factor or hormonal imbalances. You can take some medicines like meprate or deviry for inducing periods. But as your age is 45, get a FSH level done to find if you are going to attain menopause. Hope it helps.
